A kind of light cotton, summer shoes (Gev'a) used  by Abyaneh's women and men. The foot soles of the shoes are made of the cotton material of the women's skirt. When the skirt was torn over time then the fabric was left to the cobblers and they made strips of the desired size, folded them one by one, tapping it to hold together, then thread the strip through the foot sole to strengthen the underside of the shoe against wear.
