t is March 2024 in Abyaneh. The emigrants (Abyaneh's descendants who live in big cities return to Abyaneh for a short visit. To enjoy the spring weather, blooming apple trees and almond trees. Check around its renovated houses if winter created damage to roofs and exteriors of the houses. Domestic tourists have already invaded the village. In the middle of the long stretch from west to east, a lady sits some distance from the karal in the crowd if any tourist is interested in buying dried fruit (apple, apricot). The men are probably discussing the advantages and disadvantages of having tourists in the village. Maybe about how local authorities have done their jobs. Now and then out of the corner of their eyes; casts a sideways glance at how tourists behave in the village. The young generations from Abyaneh are active in discussing the problems that tourism has brought to the residents. Between the lines in different platforms, it is clearly visible that they feel that the residents are disturbed a lot by unruly visitors on a daily basis. Climate
Located at the foot of Mont Karkas 2,180 m above see level, at a distance of 70 km from Kashan. " With an area of 350 km ² " (Mahname Abyaneh, nr 10, 1390). Cold climate, enjoyable spring, warm summer, creates a four various season .This village experiences a moderate and dry climate. The average annual temperature varies from -7º C with snowy winter to 30º C in the summer, nights are relatively pleasant. In January and February, Abyaneh has relatively cold dry tolerable weather. Population
Household, including moved (emigrate) out Ca. 2000. The Iranian Statistical Center stated in 2015 that its population was 301 people (147 households). Men of old remain in the village and the young leave home, and stay in the major cities or even travel abroad for education or to earn one's living, mostly dispersed all over the world. The future of the entire village is threatened by depopulation. For a short period of time in the summer to some extent the young return to the village for visiting relatives. They are not interested to continue their parents footprints. Being an adult to lose talking the native language (Viunj) but retain their independence in understanding it. There is a great risk that the unique old Persian language die out gradually, then they have got themselves to blame. Unfortunately the number of young are unknown, as well the spreading of sex distribution .
Houses
The old houses are around 200 years, based on the old styles patterns made of red clay soil (Haksoor) bricks, wooden doors, windows and roof stand stairways on green bedrock (Záya). Natural resursers are still used to make houses same way as the old. A mixture of khaki mud and water solution is used inside to refresh rums with its special sweet scent of mud and yellow white color. Tow door handles of metal on the outer door with different construction shows if is it a woman or a man knocking at the door. Modern life has not influenced Viunj's (Abyanei´s) traditional costumes but well adapted to a meaningful modern way of living style. Vegetation
Unique landscapes such as water springs, apple and plum farm, walnut gardens, long valley av plane and aspen-trees, rich wild flora, endless high and low rocky/ sand and stone mountains with colourful contrast gives the landscape an exceptional character.
Lifestyle changes in Abyaneh(Viuna)
Much of the former lifestyle has changed over time in Abyaneh as in all other social structures. Many of the professional workers' jobs disappeared completely. Commercial markets have taken over and in some ways facilitated the work of the population. Their eating habits have also changed, but in some situations and rituals they stick to the old traditions. Today it can be difficult for you as a tourist to find Abyaneh's traditional food on a plate. But if you are lucky, chances are you will get to taste such food at religious and ritual ceremonies.
