Language(Viundj)
The language spoken in Abyaneh has it's roots in ancient Persia, Indo- Iranian languages, a subfamily of the Indo-European languages. Recent viundj language could be closely related to Middle Persian elements which were also spoken in Sassanian Persia (Sassanian Empire AD 226-64) with additional influences from other Persian languages. This old language is only spoken today in Abyaneh, total numbers of speakers are low: over 2000. It's amazing that the other four neighbouring villages not far from each other, speak entirely different languages.
There are a lot of similarities between the Kurdish language and the viundj. "Khashe" How are you? has for example the same meaning in both Kurdish and viundj, with a little tiny different pronunciation.
There are also similarities between viundj language and Scandinavian countries. For example the word "holá" in viundj, the word "hole" in english and the word "hål" in Swedish has the same meaning.
The other word is VARG (wolf). In the Nordic language, which has large dialect variations, the word Wolf already exists. In Norwegian wolf is called (VARG) which is similar to the word VARG which is used in Abyaneh's language and in Swedish with a little difference (VARI).
Other examples of the common words:
Scandinavian languages: Koja (little house) , Avan (water flow)
Viundj language/Abyaneh: Káyja (little house), Av (water flow)
